I’m not repeating anything like intelligent design. You must have as little understanding of that as you do about biology in particular and science in general. Saying that an evolved and inherited trait serves a biological purpose is not intelligent design. It’s the difference between cause and effect. This is

I’m not sure what you mean by a “feature” of biology. If something goes extinct, it’s biology probably failed in some way. Failure is not generally considered to be a feature but perhaps you’d like to expand on that with some reference material. I read this stuff all the time so if you have a book or scientist who

I’m not at all resistant to the idea that things can “just be”. I wonder if you actually think that concept is contradictory to the scientific reality that things biological elements have a purpose. It isn’t. Maybe on a very simple level it might seem so. But if you understood the subject matter and how words work in

Here here. I’m honestly a bit dumbfounded. It’s usually quite the opposite.

You’re right. The only logical outcome of this is the abolition of sex-segregated sport. We can’t have it both ways. I make no value judgments on this. People can decide what they want. If they want to protect women as athletes and provide the same (or as best as we can muster) opportunities as men, then we must

I think we are rapidly approaching a point where there will be no more women’s categories in sports. In a world seeking perfect equality, there certainly shouldn’t be a special category for lesser competitors. Everyone should be equally subject to win or loss based on their own personal abilities. If you agree with

Pretty sure your money was already lost on that one. Please crawl back under your bridge. Or, in true troll fashion, keep cursing and calling me names. I can take it. Internet bullies don’t scare me.

Every word you wrote is wrong. It is not a major principle that there is no purpose for biology. No scientist I mentioned supports that idea. It was not in any way, the reason that Darwinism was controversial. This is not day 1 stuff. They don’t teach obvious false information on day 1 that I am aware of.

I never said they all acted against their biology. Can you do anything besides lazy strawmen? Anything at all?

    More strawmen. Super boring.

You don’t actually know much. Me, I don’t know if you’re gay, but you certainly come off as a homophobe and racist. Just like women can be anti-woman, gay people can be anti-gay.

Here’s a fun thought. How cool would it be to have a sequel?

I never finished Horizon because I just kind of stopped playing it. I never finished Breath of the Wild because I keep getting side tracked by different things to do, see, and explore. It doesnt even feel like a game that is meant to be “beaten” but to be played forever, like an alternate life. Very strange. Love it.

I never really followed the Frag Dolls but always thought it was a cool concept and great marketing. Sad to see it gone. This was a great article. I really enjoyed reading it and learned a lot. Not enough content like this on the web. Thanks.

This particular column needs more salt. I’d like to send it back. ;)

Wow, that’s great. I always hate to see so much food wasted when it’s perfectly good and safe.

I didn’t realize it was legal to intentionally sell expired foodstuff.

We eat out of date food all the time. There’s a website that tells you how far past you dare go on most foods and even it is pretty conservative. One thing I noticed is that in almost all cases, it recommends using our senses to determine if a food is bad. A ripe smell, or a sour taste, or a different color or a wet

I read them regularly. It’s precisely WHY  I think this way. Because they do, too. It’s called science. And, honestly, it’s relatively basic at the level we’re discussing.

The existence of extinct species is not a valid rebuttal to the assertion that we can act against our biology.
