Whoa, way cool. What cars are these from?

Too bad it always seems to be a super-common car that’s difficult to track down :/
And handle better.
Crossovers are only popular because the vast majority of people are mindless sheep/lemmings who are incapable of forming their own opinions about stuff and just follow whatever the latest trend or fashion is. Us Jalopers are smarter than that and know a station wagon or hatch is obviously better in just about every way…
First, turbocharged engines and now engine start button in the center console. Where did I see this before?
A Cadillac built in Trollhattan is downright sacrilege.
This generation of the Alfa-Romeo GTV was first produced in ‘94, so it’ll be legal to import next year. You say no to that face!
Saw a Facel Vega (HK500) in real life for the first time at my local indy shop just last week, I almost soiled my pants in childish excitement. Spent a good 15 minutes just checking it out, ended up being late to work.
If you think pulling a handbrake is physically too demanding, you shouldn’t be driving. Same for operating a clutch. I swear every new car seems to be designed for people who actually don’t like driving and cars in general.
Hot take: Having driven and ridden in a friend’s ‘18 RR Td6 several times, I’d take the RX over it in a heartbeat as a daily driver. Never understood gargantuan luxury SUVs and never will.
Notice how many vehicles stop within a minute of the crash to help. In America, everyone just drives by ugly crashes as if nothing happened...
Only one brand was Born From Jets:
Well said. Brand identity has all but disappeared in the thirst for profits. Everyone tries to make fashionable trendy vehicles that cater to everyone instead of preserving brand heritage.
The touch controls are a dealbreaker for me. Give me buttons, switches, knobs, levers, thumbwheels, ANYTHING else.
Given the same engine: City MPG is generally close, true, BUT a sedan/hatch/wagon will always have significantly better highway MPG because of aerodynamics and less frontal area.
I’ve experienced this phenomenon in countless cars with just 1 exception: The Saab 9-5 CAN be unlocked as the passenger is pulling the door handle. Presumably other Saabs also have this "feature".
The GTI is about 800 lbs lighter than the Macan and my 9-5 Wagon with a comparatively gargantuan 36.8 cu. ft. (73 with seats folded) still comes in 300 lbs. lighter than an MKC. So basically, unless you have a bad back or live on terrible roads, there is zero reason to choose a CUV over a proper wagon.
2018 Macan total cargo space - 53 cu. ft
I’m 5'11, but funny you bring that up, since CUVs (and SUVs) seem to be especially popular with 5'0 women, who wouldn’t want to be caught dead in a wagon.
