I just posted the same about the collar lOL!
So.. I have a few questions: Why does Kanye ALWAYS have resting bitch face? Why is Kim wearing what looks like a bondage collar? Did he collar her? So many questions....
Yeah, she did recognize it pretty gracefully... I did not hear anything on the adding hazing to her platform though, but good on her if she is
I didn't get those references to ex-boyfriends. All I saw in the linked article was "One BF stalked her, another was a quite marine, and currently she prefers not to discuss her romantic life". What did I miss?
I sometimes crochet and can my own tomato sauce... You're welcome to join me(provided you're not a creep)
Right, but that information was put there to kind of add more fuel to the fire... To have us mentally associate her image with that of all this alleged abusive hazing in unnamed sororities; it was not put there for context, but to have us think of her as someone who would partake in similar activities.
to defend white lady tears of course... You caught me..
yup.. That's all I care about: the feels and white lady tears..
Thanks for the condescension. I love how you assume that I never "read a god damn article"(Of course I didn't even read this one),I am white and American and therefore responsible for all social inequality... As if I had a say in it..
also, they all fucking respect her because she whipped their sub-par butts into awesome-ish docs
I think that speech is like the "choose me, love me" speech oh Meredith, but like on Steroids and more poignant.. Both are super different characters.. Mer was white, rich/semi-rich from her mom I think, still in the "girl in love with her teacher phase"... Anyway, differences, but basically they both stand up to…
so OP comes to this forum to empathize/open a discussion/try to understand what it feel like because she knows she doesn't face the sameBS and your enlighten answer is "white ppl need to shut up on conversations about these topics I just gave you. Just feel guilty and riot in the streets and then I'll believe you..…
Valid point, except.. How is she responsible for any other same type comment? She is simply expressing her POV/what she feels, and what she finds relatable. EG: I know that the angry black woman is a very specific stereotype, but I too wonder about how it is rooted in general sexism, and then exacerbated when it comes…
She seems like she was trying to be sympathetic.. Saying "man, I hate this sexist BS, and you guys have to top that with all this racist BS too".. Just my 3rd party impression
And she has reason to be angry, but she doesn't have to worry about being a racial stereotype.. Just the stereotype of the scorned woman, but that's another issue
amen to all that! Also, I too notice that "race" is not something brought up constantly in Rhimes' shows, and even though I'm not black and don't want to presume how any black woman feels, I think it's awesome not because we should ignore something important, but simply because they focus on being awesome, well…
me 2, but I just have to say it: Being brown does not make you latina.. I hate how ppl fan over Longoria being latina when she don't speak Spanish/Podtuguese/... Annd has no real connection to the culture... She can't even make a decent statement about immigration .. Uggh.. She's sooo overrated
Wow.. Way to be an asshole.. Haha! You won't get a job after college, so cool! ... :/
the whole purpose of the show is to be self-serving to Mindy, so.. Yeah.. Unless she has to deal with an unwanted pregnancy, it isn't happening
I also guessed that the DA is just throwing everything and anything at her... Super weird law to have still exist though..
