This. Years ago I was proceeding through a green light in my Maxima SE when a Chevy Caprice (60s vintage, a huge car) ran the red light and t-boned the passenger side. Literally pushed me through the intersection an up onto the curb. As my car went over the curb, still being pushed sideways, my driver’s side door took

Yeah. I believe the theory is you recover damages from the owner, and then it’s up to the owner to go after the actual driver.

I feel like there’s something missing in this story. Maybe he left his key in the ignition or something, but even then that wouldn’t be enough to create civil liability (at least in my state). It also doesn’t make sense that the insurance would drop his coverage.

In almost all instances, damage done by a vehicle follows that vehicle and then to its registered owner. For example, the damage done to the bus was caused by the car and would be the responsibility of that car’s owner (and their insurance)…hopefully his liability is sufficient to cover it.

Bureaucracy not evil.

It’s definitely more artistic than the stock one...

Basically the same as any Tesla autopilot user...

Now playing

I could see someone arguing against it being the best car ad, but the one I think about most often is Ray Charles for Peugeot.

VW print ads from the 1960s are my favorites.

More of this! I know some folks are gonna complain that it’s not “car enough” for this site, but truly this kinda thing is interesting.

But David, think of the clicks if you DID remove the weight and document the results.  Do it for the clicks, man.....and live-stream it.

I still can't believe people want to buy this abomination.

It’s just as much a sport as WWE.

If I wanted a thing in my life nagging me about my posture I would call my mother.

If/when I get another small car to replace my Mazda3 that got totaled 3 weeks ago, I’m definitely getting a Mazda. They are crushing it in the aesthetic design area. Except for the MX-30... don’t look at the MX-30. It hurts my soul.

Factory wraps need to be a thing.   That look is hot.

Your non-quilted “high glare” example is painted flat white. It will produce less glare than quilted stainless.
