My kids found a new Garfield show on Netflix and they love it. It’s their favorite show now. I have failed them.

Once Disney finishes buying out the rest of the studios this will be the only way to watch anything. Also it will cost $120/month just like cable.

It’s hard to get over how much of a hole Kilgrave’s death left in the series. He’s the main reason Season 1 was so interesting and trying it fill it in with a bunch of meandering side stories didn’t work so well for me.

I have to imagine that the interior is going to be revamped considerably, removing most of the coach cabins and replacing them with entertainment like a modern cruise ship.

I think he was majory deflated when the Internet started reading it carefully and figured out all of his hidden plot points right away.  I think he was seriously planning to blow people’s mind with R+L=J around book 6 or 7 and now it’s ruined. 

The last season of the show went totally cliche and off the rails. You can argue that it doesn’t have as many long boring sections, but the books at least made sense and didn’t crap over the entire concept of time and space. 

The EPA more or less solved the acid rain problem in the US.  It’s still a big problem in Asia.

I am in constant amazement at the SNL costume and set design.  Week after week they’re making and remaking entire scenes that last only 5 or 10 minutes.  They don’t even get the whole week, the writing and vetting have to happen first before they even know what they need to build. 

You didn’t watch the hearings did you?  It was too short to cover the madness. 

I was disappointed in the hearing that no senators then followed up with the question “How is this ‘Devil’s Triangle’ drinking game played?” We probably could have gotten another outburst from Special K as the adrenaline rushed through his veins.
