Weren't the Lannister boys being sent up there to man the tollbooth? Seems like Cersei got word of the vacancy at the castle and rushed to fill it.

This is the first time I remember where the Stark motto was used to punctuate their badassery. The Lannesters got to use that "A Lannester always pays his debts" (not even their real motto) line so many times, it's great for the Starks to get in on the action.
I think that's why she sent the dragons up first, just to make sure there aren't any assassins with crossbows hiding in the shadows. Still, as dramatic as it was for Dany to lead the way up there, it was pretty dumb.
She still could murder them. It's not like we saw them parting ways peacefully. There may very well be a scene where the Lannisters wonder whatever happened to those boys they sent up to try to take the castle.
The biggest thing DARE did was make Marijuana sound awesome, causing so many teenagers to be disappointed later.
For all of the awkwardness with the Tumblr-turned-into-characters part of the episode it had more laugh out loud moments than any one thus far this season. Maybe I just like a good farce.
On one hand this makes sense given how damn expensive it must be to film each season all across the globe.
Eh, it got better the further you got in the series. The first two eps were really draggy though. Having uneven quality through the season is a MST3K hallmark after all. I don't think they're in danger of cancellation, not unless Reed Hastings takes a chainsaw to all of their shows.
It's ladder theory. The idea that it's not possible to form a friendship with someone of your sexual preference without also wanting to get in their pants.
The thing is, presidential elections are mostly decided by turnout. Moderates are more or less extinct now. So the party with the most exciting candidate tends to win, even if that candidate is batshit. Hillary lost the enthusiasm race by a country mile, and would have lost spectacularly against any candidate…
I can't believe Rob Liefeld has been doing this for 30 years and still can't draw male characters as anything but Cable (including his ultra-skinny calves and tiny feet) cosplaying.
Lots of descriptions of Dany wearing one arm togas that bare a breast and usually fleeting descriptions of whatever whore is in the scene, but it's not Anne Rice stuff.
That one where a chart has an A at the top and a 13 down in the numberline is a stretch.
It's a little hard to differentiate R2 on the new toys. This one comes with 75% more melancholy!
Gods yes. The only thing worse than the Dorne storyline in the books was the Iron Islands. I honesty can't remember most of what happened in Dorne other than the king (?) has gout and they killed Mycelium when she tried to run away for some reason.
Mortal Kombat gets a base 50% for the theme song alone.
I think Square was drinking their own Kool-Aid from their advertising campaign where they were comparing FFXII with a movie. If a game already has 2 hours of cutscenes why not just remove the tedious battle stuff and make it a movie?
And then in the end the Earth just fixes itself anyway. Why did they even bother?
That sort of overestimation is basically inevitable with intelligence agencies. They have to assume the worst when they don't have all of the facts, and they never have all of the facts. It's better to overestimate your enemy and be wrong tha to underestimate them and be wrong. Even if someone like Bush personally…
There's a big difference between killing off Duke and killing off Optimus Prime. Duke was certainly front and center, but there was a lot of weight on the supporting cast, especially fan favorites like Snake Eyes. Optimus Prime however was the core of the entire Transformers cartoon series. Without him all you are…
