My sister got a kitten about two years before our other cat died. Other cat was NOT PLEASED. He had the house to himself for a decade, and didn't want to share. He was funny though, as angry as he was, he definitely understood this was a baby, so he shouldn't like, kill him. But he would position himself right in

Exactly.

"This community has suffered a great deal,"

Wow. You must be important.

Here in Massachusetts, stores are barred by law from opening on Thanksgiving day. (Stores can get individual permits under certain circumstances, but the usual-suspect big-box retailers aren't eligible). That doesn't keep retailers from opening at 12:01 AM on "Friday" though.

From the Tampa Tribune article: "The insurance company owner attended multiple public hearings this year to speak against the county budget, which included employee pay raises for the first time in five years…'I do not feel obligated to pay for any wage increase for any county employee,' she said in September."

Because these "discoveries" are then used to discriminate against women.

This reminds me of the paper that claimed women liked shopping because it's more like picking berries and nuts, and men like getting in and out of the store as fast as possible because that's more like hunting.

That's why I dislike the whole "evolutionary psychology" thing. The concept has potential, but it's all being run by morons who are just trying to prove that their worldviews are inborn human biology. You can't prove that something is a human universal unless you get samples and surveys from people of different age

I cannot STAND these large-scale surveys of adult men and women that try to argue that because they get a certain result, it's biological. These people have been living in society for at least 18 years, people! Do you really think they haven't learned anything about how society works and how they "should" feel?

It's kinda weird, a guy with no shirt and jeans on is "half dressed" but a woman in a bikini can be called "fully dressed" even though she's 95% exposed.

Now playing

Women wearing their knickers and bra (or bikini) or some variation on that theme (like only a man's shirt or t and knickers), in the history of TV and film is a THING. So you must have VERY limited film and TV viewing. Also, female nudity if film - mostly of the "we've seen your boobs" variety is so common that

Finally, an appropriate place for me to scream "I'M SO SICK OF WOMEN BEING USED AS PROPS IN MOVIES."

I'm amazed that so many people are still SHOCKED, I tell you, SHOCKED when they realize this is true. We're so blinded that media completely revolves around men that those same people will then fall over themselves to justify it.

It IS cathartic to hate-read, but you did that for us here, and now we have absolutely no reason to give them any site traffic at all. Let's make a pact that NONE OF US will EVER go there, EVER EVER FOREVER.

Sadly, you're often seeing digital alterations of movie stars on film too. I worked for a visual effects company whose predominant work on one film was touching up a very famous actress' complexion - frame by frame. The movie release was delayed because of it..

For me, the Duke case is a story about prosecutorial misconduct, not false rape allegations. That guy went so far off the reservation that he was fired, disbarred, and then sent to jail for that shit. Prosecutors play dirty and send innocent people up the river all the damn time, but rarely, if ever, are they held

i won't!

MRA IN THE HOOOOOOOOUUUUUUSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
