Hoo yah!  Who needs a house, I’m in for this MF’er.

Your FACE is dumb!

OR I could buy a Z06 with a warranty.

Really? Musk is acting like a petulant child. But his actions does not affect me. Trump on the other hand... Well, let’s just say I don’t have to worry about another world war from Elon’s actions.

Why is that hard to believe? 60 month term with high interest rate, compared with a few years of depreciation, and yeah, the balance on the loan could be worth double the current value (not original value) of the car.

Mega Bucks, ultra high tech and record breaking run. Too bad they didn’t bother to put a $50 go-pro on the dash towards the track. It would have been nice for us the get a sensation of the speed this thing really has. Seems like a bit of a wasted PR moment. I would have watched that over and over again for hours

What kind of person goes to Vegas and rents a Veyron? Do they think people (bouncers? valets?) will assume it’s theirs?

what they are doing on the software front is interesting and im sure that some company is going to be very interested in it eventually. Its not that I don’t want them to succeed but i think they are doing the same thing so many vehicle startups are doing - not realizing what a massive uphill struggle BUILDING cars is.

I mean... By poor build quality, his last video just said it was a bunch of panel gaps and cosmetic issues. Nothing about the reliability of the car.

It should be at least... three times that size!

What is this, a car for ants?

I think this is a good initiative, but the hurdle for most people isn’t the lack of a plug in their garage—it’s the fact they don’t have a garage at all. I’ve been wanting to buy an EV for years, and am even lucky enough to live in a building with underground parking—but no place to plug it in.

I’m positively *consumed* with disappointment that he didn’t swerve onto the grass to cut a bit during his stop at 0:35.

Just wanted to add, sorry for the layout of that comment. Bastard thing locked out quickly and it could really use some reformatting.

The quotes within quotes for this title are on the nose. It’s structured to imply Musk said this when it is actually quoting text from a complaint submitted by the NLRB that is in turn quoting another source who was present at the meeting. That source in turn was not actually trying to quote Musk, but was presenting

FUCK YES! THANK YOU! I’m so sick of “thoughts and prayers” type I could puke. Get off your ass and at least TRY to help or STFU and don’t chastise the ones at least making an effort. He didn’t have to do shit but yet he spent I’m sure thousands of dollars to build, nd transport something he thought could help. KUDOS
