Oh please, mustangs have been hunting people for decades. And Henry ford was an actual Nazi.

Regen is going to be affected by weight and the rate of braking. I would assume the cars in question slow down very gently.
Because developing EVs is currently very expensive, and these are relatively small companies. Their per car price may be huge but they don't have near the Rd budget of the larger companies.
Except it doesn't, not really. In a gas car, step on the gas, convert chemical energy in the tank to kenetic energy. Slow back down and you're converting the kenetic into heat in the brakes and it's gone. In an ev, you get 60-80% of it back in the battery when you slow down. You still have rolling and air resistance…
Can one restore functionality by removing the boost device?
“Instead of a fairly traditional heat pump for temperature management of the car’s climate control system, like you might find on a combustion car, the Model 3 uses its massive electric battery pack to do the same job. “
It can climb stairs
“It’s not like there’s a lot of engineering that needs to happen here.”
Can you name a company that followed that strategy to bankruptcy?
I agree that gm and Nissan has been... Let’sbe generous and say overly cautious. It may even be possible that it was less about producing cars and more about being able to say that they were producing EVs, but I’m not privy to their decision making process so I don’t know.
You should never compare what some have done to what others have promised to do.
They are cool and all, but they can't do highway duty, which rather limits their utility.
I would think there would be pretty serious logistical issues at delivering ppe right now. Many of these shields wont find their way to health are workers quickly. That’s not to say they are wasted, logistics are hard in an emergency. Its saying that we may need to build many more than we need in order to get them out…
“easy to make rules. easy to make system with the perfect logic and rigor. all you need to do is leave out the mercy. then when you put people into in and they get chewed to nothing, its the persons fault, not the rules. everything we do thats worth shit is done with people. Flawed, stupid, lying, rule breaking…
Its great that they are, and I hope we get lots of them. But the automated bottle squeezer isn't anywhere near as good as more advanced systems. Better systems are better. Cheap systems are better than no systems. Let's not equate them too much.
What would a modern version of that look like? A Chevy hd front end mater to a Buick SUV?
It’s less about the absolute price of oil and more about huge and sudden swings in price. All things being equal cheap oil is better for the economy, but worse for environment. A sudden change in the price of oil, in either direction, tends to be really bad for both.
holy front overhang batman!
Owner must bribe the right person.
Im curious if it’s the matter of a fifth pull, or fifth pull with no break I between. In other words, does acceleration drop to 6s if the battery is below a certain percentage, or is this the ev equivalent of heat soaking?
