One disagreement, on the battery being full. There is a limit to the rate at which the generator can absorb kinetic energy, but it need not put it in the battery. One can always dump the excess energy into a resistor bank.

Car inductive chargers seem like a really bad idea. EVs are about 3 times more efficient than ice vehicles. An inductive charger cuts that advantage in half. It can’t be that hard to make an automatic plug (that doesn’t look like an alien butt probe)
