He is trying to lower prices thru economies of scale.

You could make that argument.

He doesn’t even make fun of cars. He makes fun of the people who own them.

Our congress is currently busy with this wall thing. Please call back later.

It was a much bigger problem when recharge times were several hours. That made long trip impractical. Sure, even a 100mile range is fine for 90% of driving, but who wants to buy a car that won’t work 10% of the time?

I never found turning my head to be all that difficult.

In a more sensible world, we would do just that.

If most people aren’t adjusting their mirrors this way, there must be some reason for it. I think it’s because if you can’t see your own vehicle in the mirror, it is more difficult to judge the distance between the car you are seeing and your own.

Because regulations prohibit mirrors with non constant curvature which would make this problem go away (and do in other countries)

International standards will help manufacturers in rich countries and hurt those in poor countries. There will be a benefit to consumers in rich countries, but it’s debatable if they will or will not benefit consumers in poor countries.

The thruput looks crazy low. This seems less about reducing traffic and more about letting a few people avoid it.

So far, he is.

So what happens to normal, run of the mill porn? How does a porn model communicate their consent?

I was thinking along similar lines the other day (oh no!).

I thought fight club did them pretty well.

In my limited experience its the fancy expensive interiors that break easily.

I don’t see anything particularly objectionable about the clio interior, and certainly don’t understand why you think the second one if preferable.

I think even todays cheap interiors are pretty fantastic. But then again, I didn’t mind the seas of grey plastic of the 90's. Having a fancy interior is just not a priority to me.

The geo Metro gets pretty fantastic economy, even by today’s standards. It’s a miserable car by any other metric.

The nice thing about this approach is that it will allow some structures to be much stronger, since they won’t be made out of layers.
