I appriciate the response, but the links make it rather hard to see what you’re driving at.

Maybe safer, but not safe.

I think they are equally scared shitless. Seriously, do you really think ICE is going to let go of someone just because they are white?

The children are American citizens. They are being deprived of their mother. So this move directly makes 4 American citizens much worse of.

So is ICE basically deporting everyone they have records of?

It does not appear to be mid engined. And is that really the wing its going to have?

He wasn’t trying very hard in the recorded lap. The engine stayed out of the power band for all but a small portion of the straight. I think he wanted to make sure you were comfortable.

Tracking sportbikes was the greatest automotive fun I’ve ever experienced. It is so much more involved than cars. It’s more personal, more intense, and there is so much more to do. I can’t wait to get back into it.

Agreed. Right now, plug ins are a better technology. In the future, it seems that EV’s have an advantage for most application, as they are much simpler and in theory should be cheaper as we get better at making batteries. Some people want a taste of the future now, and it’s hard to blame them.

I’m curious if it’s going to carry perception of luxury. I think it will, at least for a while. If so, it will attract more buyers.

I’m heating and cooking with gas, and it’s still cheaper. Of course, I’m pretty low down south, so heating bills aren’t a big consideration.

As long you are someone that doesn’t take long trips, or expects family emergencies. If you’re single and don’t travel much, its a reasonable gamble to take.

Crossovers are pretty efficient. Not ultra efficient, but the days of 16mpg SUVs are over.

People with corporations=anyone with a retirement account.

I’m willing to bet that most of that list will look very similar. Companies aren’t trying to push candidates, they are trying to avoid making powerful enemies.

Man, your electricity is expensive. We’re in the sub $0.07/kwh here. You’re also comparing to 40mpg which is rather higher than average. But I see the point, the 3 isn’t the ideal vehicle if you want to cut down your transportation costs as much as possible. But it is still, to me, appears to be comparable to other

Wow, electricity is expensive whereever you are. We pay half of that. But point taken, the 3 will cut your gas bill in half.

The ones that have me wondering are Alaska and Hawaii plates (in texas). It seems unlikely that those cars were driven here.

Clearly, but it’s hard to say just how much demand that translates to. Does it mean there 500k/yr? Or are those the only 500k people that want a model 3 and wont be buying another one until they wear theirs out 10 years later? Neither of those possibilities seem likely, but they help frame the extend of the range.

Agreed there. Quality problems can sink that ship. An unexpected rise in gas prices can make them look much more attractive. Right now, it’s not so good of a deal that you would have to be a fool to look at another car, but it’s also not so bad of a deal as to not be worth considering. Again, it really comes down to
