The only car purchase I really regret is a 335i I bought in my thirties. I’d like to tell my teenage self to slow down and drive more reasonable, but I heard that advice plenty as a teenager and didn’t listen. I don’t think I would have listened to future me either. I knew better damn it. I had skills.

I notice the robot arms don’t do a very good job of following the human input. They appear slower, particalarly slower to start moving, so they sometimes skip part of the command in order to keep up. Also, at one point the operator brings their arms together in front of them, while the robot parts stay far apart.

Boston Dynamics has/had a bipedal model that appeared to walk quiet well, at least in their videos.

I think that’s a 3d printed intake Manifold.

Hey, thanks, and I’d like to take on this nitpick, because I think it’s important. If I understood you correctly, you seem to think that proper application of critical thinking can eliminate false epistemic bubbles. I’m not sure that’s true in aggregate.

They industry isn’t going to support a change to any regulations they have already adapted to. So it’s all going to be about future changes to regulations.

The interesting thing is that many of those idiots show a great deal of critical thinking. Their trouble is that of a false consensus. The platform allows people to isolate themselves from people who believe differently, surround themselves with similar opinions, then marinade in them until they believe in their bones

My understanding of the “theory” is that NASA used a real Jeep as a prop when they filmed the fake moon landing, using a combination of real alterations and editing of the film to create the dune buggy.

“Basically, the system allows more airflow into the engine which increases the supercharger RPM, but it doesn’t overwhelm the brakes with excessive torque.”

I’m pretty sure it’s Saber rattling. If dprk artillery could be neutralized by existing deployed technology, we would have done so years ago.

It’s not a defense, it’s a deterrent. Our way if saying we’re going to blow up their stuff if they don’t behave.

I don’t know french, but I’ve come across people who feel that redundant letters aren’t redundant. They are more like spices that somehow alter the feel of the letters around them.

I swear some cultures think sticking extra letters make them sound smarter.

Yep. Some cars have a way of looking expensive. The 3 doesn’t appear to be one of them.

What about Bilsteins for the top and a manual mechanism for the LSD?

Take your last line there about special performance not fitting into this category. It could be that to some Teslas are more like special performance cars than they are like traditional luxury cars.

Eh, I thought building a global economy had more to do with it myself.

We haven’t faced a near equal opponent since WW2. I think that has a great deal to do with why our carriers haven’t come under attack.

But Chine/Russia may wish to engage our carriers, and if they do, we better be able to stop them.
