This! Seconded. I did something similar and it worked.

Maybe it’s a Brit thing? Didn’t Harry and Meghan mutter the same words? (I agree with you though)

Thank you for this! WE HAVE A WINNER. I bought it in green, with the matching ottoman. Do you have a link to the design blogger’s site? Now I need to find inspiration for throw pillows and such. Pinterest is helping!

A pity!

It’s not up to the general public to do parents’ jobs, sorry. Just like I shouldn’t be expected to fork out $200 extra on noise-canceling headphones because parents bring unruly children on flights.

I know. I’m married to one. A Brit who happens to be Scottish. I also work at a major international organization where these nuances manner. But I’m speaking to a mostly American audience here. Also, a lot of Scots who are indeed Brits prefer not to be referred to as British, FYI. So I stand by my comment.

I know! They at least seem to find them for roles that require some French. How come no German? :(

Sorry for the late reply. The only idea that comes to mind here is to separate it into two: have “boring” tutoring (you gotta get the grammar & literature & history down somehow) and “fun” activities, which can include special quality time stuff with the native-speaking parent or perhaps an au pair if that is

So Black Swan meets Atomic Blonde?
