I get it, but why should 50+ people spend over $200 on great headphones, because of 1-4 screaming babies per flight? Wouldn’t it just be more cost-efficient to find alternative solutions? Like demand airlines have a quiet plexiglas cubicle of sorts, or whatever other idea we can come up with that doesn’t place the

Haha! Thank you, my thoughts exactly! I was browsing through the comments surprised that no one else was creeped out... I mean, THINK OF THE TEETH!

I value your point of view, for sure, but your argument is flawed...

Just to play devil’s advocate here: why can’t the adult family fly in? I think one of the biggest reasons this doesn’t factor in as an option is because since babies don’t pay for tickets, it’s just cheaper for families to travel with them. Just wait until the thirsty airlines start cashing in on baby tickets and

In general terms, I agree, but guidelines are not the same thing as recommendations, which is what you linked to. Also “may increase” is not good enough. If you work for the organization, please ask them to back it up with official statistics establishing a clear correlation (which I believe won’t be easy to find).

Similarly, Cambodia is sinking into quasi-dictatorship with the main ruling party —in power for decades— recently declaring the newer and popular opposition party, illegal. They have also gone after the media, and are slowly but surely sinking back into a new Khmer Rouge regime.

Great to know that! I wasn’t aware, so thank you!

Do not spend even one second worrying about assholes or people who make you uncomfortable, particularly on your special day. Do not invite and throw care to the wind! If friend comes around asking questions, it’s up to you to explain if you feel like it. But you don’t owe anybody anything. Fill your day with happiness

My main question for IVF-considerers is: are you ready for the possibility of having more than one child at the same time? If the answer is no, it might not be right for you.

No, boycotts are usually a last-resort tactic when nothing else has worked, which is completely applicable to the current situation. Thanks for initiating!

I’ve been a reader and commenter for over 5 years, and here I am still, languishing in the grays.

Rich? I think this one smells like nouveau riche, to be honest.

Makes sense to me! We were considering tattoos and then ended up choosing “nothing at all”. I do hope you find the perfect solution for your couple!

Then maybe it’s time to take matters into your own hands. Have you ever heard of Emily’s List? http://www.emilyslist.org/

Excellent point! That’s all I have to say. I never actually thought of this as a “thing” until you pointed it out, but now I cannot unsee it. Thanks for opening my eyes to this problem!

Does it have to be a ring? Have you considered a permanent or semi-permanent tattoo in its place?

Any chance you know dirt to submit to “Small town big time dicks”? Or whatever the Jezzie column is called...

I read The Points Guy rigorously to learn about all the tricks on maximizing my rewards. It really depends on what you’re looking for: travel, shopping or hard cold cash rewards? Think about that and then shop around for the best credit card for you, based on your credit score.

I’ve been holding out on watching The Print Shop ep. It was going to be tonight, but it’ll have to wait. Now that you point this out, I’m even more excited. I do feel like the series seems more realistic, although overall my main criticism is that both the books and the series often put Jaimie on a freaking pedestal.

I second this! The books can often be a drag. I started the show first and then I couldn’t wait for this season so I started the books. Good, with lots of bad in between. Also, her fixation with the word “gingerly” bothers me. Once you see it, you realize it she uses it at least once in every chapter. It’s so annoying.
