THIS! I’ve been traveling since I was a baby, and only recently --at the ripe age of 30-- have I started getting gas & bloat on planes. Agh! Is this a “thing”? Or should I be worried it might be IBS....?

Exactly! Where is Saint Angelina when it comes to defending the human rights of people in her very own country?!

Empowered? Expecting a guy to fulfill gender roles and propose in not very empowering.

But what about the sexy times censoring on Emirates? I can’t get over it. I started Orphan Black on my last Emirates flight and I was just a bit confused at how two people stared into each other’s eyes and then next scene just woke up together.

Ugh, I guess I’ll watch it on my upcoming transatlantic flight, which happens to be on Emirates and therefore means that I will get the gleefully “censored” version of the movie: no sexy times, no gay characters expressing desire, no kissing.

“Making Faces” by Kevin Aucoin was my first and only makeup book fifteen years ago. Life-changing.

Don’t blow up! She wins. Instead, use her. Use her as a tool to practice patience and your best fake smile. If you can manage to learn how to let her idiocy slide by, you’ll be able to take on anything! Good luck

A wise friend once told me that once you tip the balance on the human/cat ratio in your household towards the furry feline side, you’ve officially become a cat lady/gent.

Thank you! Congrats to you too on your test-taking awesomeness!

Thank you! Here’s hoping that, one day, I can conspicuously sneak my vagenda into American foreign policy.

Thank you so much for this! It’s not the same reading the generic OA experiences posted on the Yahoo groups.

Congrats! My brag is that I was invited to the oral exams for the foreign service. I’m very nervous but utterly excited!

I am ecstatic this week and would love to share some good news. I passed the Foreign Service exam & essays and I am now on my way to the oral exams. Yay!

I’m just scared of being disappointed, to be honest. I love the story line and I’m not a regular romance novel reader. I’m currently reading an action/romance book set in WWII and I mostly want to puke. But now I have to finish it because I have strange a strange relationship with movies and book (MUST FINISH EVEN IF

Could I get some advice from you? I’ve never read the books, but watched the entire series. Since I must know what happens ASAP I thought about starting with Voyager.

I still wanted that last little bit of Frank... and Captain Randall’s painful death.

No! Haven’t seen Rome. But YES, I barely recognized him in the last two or three episodes of GOT. Our boy is getting famous! I also hear he’s great on stage (in London).

Yes, totally! I echo that sentiment. WTF?! I don’t get it: what are they saving it for? Or did Tobias Menzies’ contract run out because GOT hired him?

But tell me about your hair!

This is Jezebel. I never questioned the request for a “decadent” guy. How sad...?
