Me too! I think the film gets a lot of undeserved hate.

I like THOR: THE DARK WORLD. The scene on the boat with Thor & Loki where they finally hash it out is one of my favorite MCU scenes ever. The heartache when Thor says “I wish I could trust you” is Hemsworth’s first great moment in the role.

Somehow Padme returned.

I checked a video of the thing functioning normally, and it doesn’t have the “airbag” line. So, in other words, they must have actually recorded backup lines which automatically kick in if the thing malfunctions. Which, honestly, is kind of hilarious.

If anything, that would make me MORE worried since it’s built by hand by people who KNOW that it’ll be a demo/shown to the public, and they still didn’t give enough of a shit to make the panels line up.

Lol, no it isn’t “unfair”. Tesla showed this at a semi-public event and let people record it. How is that unfair?

All of those are just fanservice moments without any groundwork, and therefore don’t have any payoff. For example:

The better seasons (which I give credit to D&D for) were more than collections of moments. The parts worked synergistically to make an effective whole.

Season 8 isn’t even one of the best TV seasons in Game of Thrones.

I have some conditions: first of all, you cannot come if you have not watched my special from beginning to end. You must come to a place of my choosing and time of my choosing. And thirdly, you must admit that Hannah Gadsby is not funny.

The last thing the employees of Netflix need is a lecture from Chappelle explaining why his offensive comments were fine.

Man that little Hannah Gadsby dig is the biggest tell here, considering her second special is just legit a solid comedy routine, and her first special hinges in having a very funny half hour of a comedy routine. Talk about throwing stones without watching it!

He is already complaining about losing sponsors and people not wanting to hear his pitches.  Oh boo hoo look at your big ass mansion and think for more then a minute.  The amount of self pity is already intolerable and he will no doubt bring it up every chance he gets when that tour starts.

The way a normal person would read what I said is “Black comedians don’t get nearly the opportunities they should. Maybe we could give his airtime to one of them instead.”

He doesn’t deserve another chance. This is an intelligent human being who has chosen to pander to the laziest bullshit to generate buzz.

You know what I was thinking about this morning? He did this bit for months live, presumably, before putting it in his special. That means hundreds or thousands of people saw it and were cool with it. Woof.
