As mentioned, Idris Elba hated working on the Thor movies, as did Hugo Weaving.

The common denominator seems to be that they’re all theatrically-trained actors who ended up in roles that required tons of makeup and heavy costuming. Whoever could have guessed that that might have been a problem?

Age has not been kind to him, I guess.

Use the character motifs without delving into the romantic ties. Maybe she’s still the Emperor’s Hand, and could even go after Luke, but once he helps her overcome the Emperor’s influence she sets off on her own path?

There’s a lot about the character that doesn’t need to be tied up in a romance with Luke, or really

She got into Jessica Drew’s “permanent one-time hair dye”.

Pretty sure the person you’re responding to was talking about CPAC.

I was amused.

I’m pretty sure that the universe ends if they ever fight. So they settle their differences over pinball instead, she beats him, and he grudgingly accepts it.

I’m not sure, but that might’ve coincided with one of the storylines where Cap’s shield got f’ed up; I think the one where there was a “flaw” caused by the alloy process and it shattered when a SHIELD flunky dropped it.

Black Panther absolutely has ways of dealing with magic, he’s literally the chosen of the Panther Goddess. He’s not super powerful with magic, but by no means is he unprepared or ignorant of it like Tony Stark or Batman usually are, where at best they understand that it’s possible but have no way to interact with it.

Agreed. That’s definitely creepily oversexualized.

Especially Gara Petothel.

How gory is it? That’s always been my problem with most horror movies.

That’s an extremely low bar.

I confess, I got bored of Bravely Default before finishing it, so maybe it goes off the crazy cliff in the late game, but that’s not exactly a resounding endorsement of Square. It makes it seem like they literally cannot write a plot that doesn’t disappear up its own navel anymore.

I mean, I

Honestly the plot of XIV is pretty much a mess too. Aside from tiny projects like Bravely Default and I Am Setsuna, the plot not making any sense seems like it’s a corporate mission statement. It’s like something gets to a certain level of budget and has to hit a minimum nonsense quota.

It’s Square Enix. That’s pretty much true for all their games, even without spinoffs and sequels.

I love my S5. People mocked the plastic exterior when it came out, but that means it has a steel frame, and the combo is so much more durable than all the ridiculous aluminum and glass phones that have come after. My S5 has literally been run over without more than a few scratches. My iPhone for work bent in my damn

Other companies have tried, and it seems like too much of the customer base just doesn’t care. Differentiating on sound has mostly been a failed tactic.

It’s okay. At least you could admit the mistake.

I won’t say that Elementary is as good as Person of Interest, because I don’t know that that’s possible, but it is very, very good. The core of the show is the Sherlock’s relationship with Watson and the others around him, and it is much more interesting than I expected when I first watched it. It’s also much, much

It’s very much a procedural, but it is decidedly on a higher tier than any of the CSIs, and tonally very different from Psyche; it is not a comedy. There moments of lightheartedness, but it is tonally more a serious drama; there are some episodes that get especially serious in dealing with addiction, abuse, and
