Your link about the importance of 73 Easting is messed up; it links to an article about Obama warning Trump not to hire Trump. Otherwise the article was really good.

I never expected a gold-painted Ben Browder to be such an awesome surprise.
This needs to be a thing.
I wonder if originally Goldblum was going to have a longer cameo. Either way it was a delightful surprise.
The way Rocket got sad when Ego called him a triangle-faced monkey was just heartbreaking.
Yeah, that’s a great way to put it. I loved every part of that exchange.
Yeah, it was really sweet.
No Disassemble!
“I’m Mary Poppins y’all!” is my favorite moment in the entire movie.
The crazy thing is, isn’t this a bit late to be a prototype? Agents of SHIELD has already been doing the “What if Hydra took over the world?” schtick, and they’ve been doing it much better.
If you haven’t, you should watch The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. It’s a wonderful way to say goodbye - just be prepared for it to hit you right in the feels.
For me, his last film will always be The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. It’s sappy, but it’s such a perfect farewell to the actor and comedian I never knew could be so profanely funny when I first saw (heard?) him in Aladdin.
If it is, uh... I think maybe some Southerners have some explaining to do.

Sadly that’s more often the outcome if the hotel isn’t dependent on major events, or the con that they bully isn’t connected enough for others to get wary, but it sounds like this hotel is just a trouble magnet.
Can’t speak for the anything but movies, but that sounds like a very book way to drum up cheap tension.
For a minute I had Thog confused with Throg and was very confused why Frog-Thor was being used as the example of “Eldritch Beings”.
To be honest, maybe that’d be even better.
Yep, he’s the random crewman who warns the two boss researchers about atmospheric acidity or somesuch as they begin their descent.
Yep. To be honest it was really distracting for me, because the show is just running along and then all of a sudden BOOM they pan over to a crewman and it’s Adam Savage. His delivery was fine, he’s just way too recognizable.
It was cool regardless, and the progression of the scene after that is awesome, but it jarred…
Still sounds like the contract predated the ownership change, which isn’t entirely unheard of, for a long-running convention. New owner didn’t like it and wanted to renegotiate it, but waited until the eleventh hour to make an impossible demand. If accurate in any way, that kind of practice is going to come right…
The question would be: does Laura Dern even want to do one? As much as there should be dumptrucks full of money trying to get her back (which are probably depressingly small compared to what they likely offered Jeff Goldblum) it’s possible she’d still turn them down.
