OK, that is what we are doing no? There are all kinds of laws and restrictions on guns. If you want to argue whether we should increase or decrease the Gun Regulations we can have that argument. The OP said “Ban all guns”.

I feel sorry for people so locked into preconceived notions that they can’t imagine normal, calm, rational, non-paranoid people carrying a gun.
I don’t know what everyone else thinks, but the people who wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights are smarter than 99.9999999999999% of the people who have ever lived.
So you want people to have puckle guns and cannon? Not to mention warships since civilians with enough money could actually buy them and use them for privateering.
Lol. Fuck off.
What makes you think it is that easy? Can you name one thing a government has tried to ban that has been effectively banned? I’ve been asking this question for years now and no one has come up with an answer. Give it a shot.
As long as it plays out where they’re “somehow” scantily clad and wollowing in a jello pit, dimly lit in a smoky room full of cheering onlookers holding wads of cash!
That’s not what he said. I responded to what he actually wrote.
I do treat everyone like a person. But the commenter to whom I responded was demanding much more of a customer.
On occasion, I’ve had very nice conversations with sales assistants and I certainly always treat them respectfully, but your approach turns the position upside down: Their job IS to serve the customer. It’s a completely one-sided relationship in favor of the customer. I didn’t expect more when I worked selling clothes…
And we wonder why brick-and-mortar stores are shutting left and right and Amazon is so popular. Amazon apparently treats its people poorly, but the customer is almost always right.
So it’s the customer’s job to please the staff? I don’t think so.
That’s.. not really something to be proud of, there.
“Math-ers”? When you are dealing with scalar quantities, as with amps, it’s tough to nail it down. This is why I don’t do my own electrical work.
😘
best comment i have ever seen here.
This is the difference between space and time: You can reverse your direction of travel in space (your door analogy). You can’t reverse your direction of travel in time (anymore than you can go back to yesterday). A black hole is a feature of spacetime, which encompasses both space and time.
Opening myself up to a firestorm here (and this is probably a bit of Pinkham’s Law) but my wife and I have left a restaurant after waiting an hour after ordering.
Agreed, but the lede did say “worst” which implies a comparative element; a continuum.
Sure, it’s shitty. But I have to say, when I’m thinking of the crap customers I’ve waited on....lord. Being stiffed just doesn’t rise. I once got hit between the eyes with a buttered roll because someone wanted something I didn’t provide quick enough.
