5) Mod your vehicle with used parts, remove said parts at sale, sell them separately with modest depreciation.
I'll keep it short and I will name names:
I own a Golf TDI, it's my daily driver. When I wanted a sports car, I bought one, and it wasn't a hot hatch.
Diesel and 8 speed? My boycott of Chrysler may have just ended. The new GC looks awesome.
I own a Porsche and this Diesel might be my second, to replace my Golf TDI.
1st generation Toyota Tundra front brakes. Guaranteed to warp in under 30K miles. This is well documented all over the internet.
The 360 doesn't require an engine-out belt service. $3k every 30,000 miles is a better estimate.
I can't agree. The 70's started the Japanese movement, with the 510, CVCC, Corolla, etc. By the 80's the shift was near complete with Detroit continuing to produce turds as seen above. 90's it was over and only now is the trend reversing, slowly, and with a new 3rd party—the Koreans.
Vintage? Now I feel old.
if there was any wonder why Japan dominated the market, the Cutlass Hatchback settles it.
Exactly. No one wants higher fuel prices, but less dependence on foreign oil and higher efficiency vehicles can only be a good thing.
Park my 4WD Tundra (14-17MPG)
Anyone who wants an XR4TI can easily find one. Three are for sale on CL in the SF Bay area now, with condition ranging from needs work to excellent.
This is the illegitimate love child of an F355 and a C5 (or a FD Rx-7).
The dash layout on the S2000 is an abomination and the reason I never bought one. If I wanted to play need for speed, I'd spend $60 on a video game. I want a classic, 3 or 4 gauge layout.
I had a discussion at work about this. Either someone's widow let it go for under $5k—or the old man squeezed $30k out of the buyer. You could have bought for $50k and still turn a profit, I would think.
I'm guessing this Shelby had a hold out owner who refused to sell for years, as he planned to restore it. Owner probably got too old to even consider restoration, or possibly even died.
I'm with Hombre. 90% of this car is awesome. Ditch the unnecessary lights; and I call this Mustang perfect.
doesn't this article support the argument against 580HP without AWD?
