I expected this to be from some craphole in Kentucky, and it turns out it's ten minutes from where my office.

it's going to take a lot more than hinges to get those doors back into a non-laughable state.
I'm a tried and true lover of manual transmissions. My daily driver is manual and even in stop and go traffic, I like it.
Looped it on a flat gravel-ish road? Amateur.
Yes, I'd be first in line to buy a TDi Avant AWD. Probably in white, black being a close second. Edit: With 6 speed manual trans.
Not true. The Q7 TDi is AWD.
Iit already appears to be flexing under its own weight. Not that I disapprove in any way.
I've always hated the old time over-caffeinated, self important announcers in these 80's and older videos.
I came here to say this. Malaise era indeed.
what if it was a single guy and grandma was in the back?
No, I'm not. This is no different than Google Earth.
I have no particular love for GM, but most LSx swaps seem to make sense. Especially the old Grand Wagoneer that doubled HP, and MPG a while back. It's unfortunate someone dismantled a rare and reliable diesel wagon to swap a V8 into. Sad face.

my urban legend meter is pegged on this one.
I know I'm simply bitter about Acura deflowering their entire line of cars with the corporate grill, but I'll say anyway, for the 17th time. Your corporate grill sucks, as does your logo. It does not belong on any car for any reason. Every Acura since 2005 looks like it was designed by a 21 year old who loves an…
I just averaged 49.9 in my 02 Golf TDI from SF to Portlandia. Stopping every couple hours for the dog and friend to smoke. Was above speed limit at all times.
My point isn't to say a skilled driver cant successfully negotiate snow in a high power RWD vehicle. This guy's wife needed a lesson in how to operate her daily driver. I don't think it's responsible to buy a non-enthusiast a car that requires diligence to keep on an icy road. Add distractions like screaming kid(s)…
AWD was available on the R/T. I'd want the safest car possible for my loved ones—not one that easily spins donuts. AWD could make the difference in any number of dangerous situations. To each his own, it seems.
