I had high hopes for a new era CRX. Slow is fine, if mileage corresponds—but disengaged from road?

and I thought *I* put a lot of miles on my TDI.

All good advice! I'm a little more rough on cars—I'll be happy with 300K!

Out of curiosity—how would you describe your driving style? I'm wondering if being gentle accounts for your longevity? Average speed? Slow/ fast acceleration?

Yes, ordering a DRW O2M 6 speed (TDI Spec) from Ryanp on TDIClub. You have a 2 door as well—I like your silver better than my black. Funny, I had to purchase mine in Texas as there were none available in California. 2 door TDI's without high miles are REALLY difficult to source.

was parked near my loft for years. Owner wouldn't part with it.

My 02 TDI Golf 2 door has only about 83k, but it apparently lived a hard life previously. I love this car but the little things that break are driving me nuts. I hope I can make it as far as you.

Swap a manual trans into the TDI.

agreed, I owned one—but that's a terrible example.

Ebay, like Craigslist—is full of idiots.

Very well said.

I had one too. Bought it for $80 after it had been in an accident and with a bad starter. Couple junkyard trips later I found matching replacement parts and a starter. Sold for $1200.

if you are a guy and are driving this, there's a good chance it belongs to your girlfriend!

The H2 certainly deserved to be at the top of this list. I see one on my commute home occasionally that has every chrome accessory ever conceived attached to it. Driven by a very plain soccer mom.

seems I am not the only Jalop that appreciates Kia's design team. Even the Opitma looks great. I don't think there is a Honda or Toyota I'd even consider owning at this point.

Now playing

"Enhance" should be attributed to Bladerunner!

I was thinking Dodge Intrepid, the photo sucks—so who the hell knows.

I'm sure I'm not the only Jalop to play the game of "Guess what vehicle the ill-fitting RV head/ tail lights were sourced from?"
