I've been in the market for a 997 and understand Porsche to underestimate both 0-60 and top speed.

you said wankel twice.

I can't argue. But the point remains—it's a $89k impostor built from a Cougar.

Pristine 2008 Turbo 911.

Thanks for proving that you are unable to produce any facts relating to how the president shut down Hummer, and sticking to calling me a bigot instead of engaging in an actual discussion.

First thought was my TDI, but even grease or oil would be hard to come by after 10 or so years. I'm taking a car that runs off of an easily accessible renewable resource—wood.

This coming from a guy who thinks the President killed Hummer, because he was "basically running it." I can see research and facts aren't your strong point—so let's go ahead and blame the black guy.

I'm as white as it is possible to be.

570HP in an AWD = sub 3 second 0-60, maybe closer to 2.5.

I have, and I do complain about the M3's bloat.

My hate for the H2 is based on design principals, badge engineering, and my opinion of American idiocy in general.

I've always liked the 928, and it's my understanding the engine, when properly cared for is not the major maintenance issue. The constant electrical gremlins of a technologically advanced 30+ year old German vehicle will be the end of your free time or bank account, or both. The SBC does nothing to resolve this.

I am terribly sorry. To all my Jalopnik Brethren: A Hummer H2 is not a hideously ugly monstrosity based on a Tahoe chassis. It's based on a Suburban.

I'm sure I will lose all street cred—but 570HP in anything other than an AWD seems pointless.

I think you transposed your statement. H2 drivers are being mocked for driving an uglier, less efficient Tahoe that gets deplorable mileage and is hardly off road capable.

I'll reluctantly admit—Ford is doing some great things lately. The Fiesta would be in my top 3 if I were searching for a commuter. The new Mustang is awesome, if not my cuppa.

Only 1650 Tesla Roadsters sold? I see them often—yesterday in fact.

You might be right. I never learn:
