I hope it will set a precedence for all Women's rights issues EVERYWHERE. A bunch of states have laws that invalidate a woman's advance directive if she's pregnant. I had no idea. Scary stuff.

Being from Oklahoma, and of childbearing age, this fucking terrifies me. Beyond that, this is cruel to her family on so many levels; they're stuck footing the medical bills. Now her husband is a single parent, and he's possibly saddled with a brain damaged new born to boot. Tragic in almost Euripidean way.
