Oh, wait, no...HERE it is —

Broadcast Snooze

And so we come full circle! LOL ;-)

Well, honestly I just found it ironic that you used Tyson as an example of a working scientist as opposed to Dawkins.

I was a philosophy major in college

Does this argument depend upon what it means to be "active in the research"? How active is "active"? Does this mean that if one is not "active" (to whatever degree) one cannot engage in popular debate about a field one was trained in? Is Tyson as "active" in astrophysics what with all of his popular popularizing?

Dunno...are we talking about the same thing? Maybe it's Wilson's quip that's confusing. Appeal to authority. You need not have specific degrees, titles or profession to be right and surpass even the most accomplished scientist.

Hmmmmmm....

Let's hug it out — I was worried that you'd flay me alive with a cutting reply...

But certainly not more articulate than your average io9 commenter bitching about another average io9 commenter who bitched about dumbass rockers on TD. Oh, no...

I KNOW! :-)

Thanks to you posting Bud and me trying to one-up you, we now know that footage exists of this Antibes show...which is available as an album on iTunes, but still.
