I can see the onion headline now: “VW eGolf Found to Have Coal-Burning Generator Hidden Underneath Electric Motor, Regulators Say Ominous Black Smoke Trailing Car Tipped Them Off”

Its seems the reasons for F-e’s success are the very things you want to change. Costs could easily spin out of control and probably wipe out most of the participants, very few of which are serious “Development” race teams comparable to the likes of F1 or LMP1 teams. I think the series operates on a flawed assumption

DTM has tiny whiny engines now too tho...

Can I find it in my wild scat field guide?

Thanks for this - I love Lime Rock Park, such a great place for IMSA to race. It was 2.5 hours of pure excitement. I found myself wishing it was a 6 hour race!

How badass is the NSX? About a second give or take of every other GT3 car...

ill settle for a pokemon wrangler truck

sorry but that is a fantastic livery

why do foreign test cars always seem to have michigan plates?

I agree with others, I don’t believe electric cars are the future either, at least not entirely. True, clean energy is on the rise, but I remain doubtful it will ever replace fossil fuel in terms of quantity. The matter is not the charging, the range, or the price which can and are being improved and will soon match

my roommate accidently started a dumpster fire in college, apparently he tossed a mortar in there.... anyways i love jalopnik and any piece grilling f1. time to find a way to take it back

I hope they make that truck

tuck it in

good

author doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. animals are most active dusk-dawn, when its extremely difficult to see them, they also like to jump out at the last second sometimes- so a computer could react faster. Plus moose fun-fact: their eyes do not reflect headlights so it is even harder to see them than

Id agree with you on all counts, but the forced, poorly designed street course that Indycar loves is almost bound to have more situations like this. one car gets stuffed and there’s nowhere for anyone to go

I bet the ACO is breathing a huge sigh of relief when they follow this debate, knowing they got out in front of it.

Why is full cockpit not in any of these discussions, it works for LMPs?

yeah it just seems like when you have guys bouncing off the walls in the era of concussion science it may be time. Street circuits like long beach or Monaco raise the profile of a series, but st pete? boston? detroit? There are MANY great road courses Indycar doesn’t visit that would raise the profile of the series

Agree with you on the ovals. But I think the street course is a bad idea as well, some are very cool, most seem forced. So glad IMSA and Indycar dropped the Baltimore race.
