I'm wondering if the person Lydia called at the end was the son of her partner from last season.  I don't remember how that situation ended.

Absolutely agree with Southland being the TV highlight of the week along with Justified which just happens to air at the same time.  Damn you scheduling Gods!

I actually think LaTrice Royale will make it pretty far.  She seems to be the one of the most polished and experienced big queens the show has had.

My initial reaction was the same as yours.  My sister commented that this group was a hot mess.  But after seeing the full episode and the previews for the upcoming ones I think the are a talented group we just are gonna need more time for them show what they are capable of.  A post-apocalyptic (or apocalaptic

Just one of the many comparisons to America's Next Top Model.  Remember how low budget that first season was?

That's clearly an unfair assessment because there is no way he would be cast on two season's of Project Runway and win several challenges without having talent.

But that's kinda my point. He is so meek and lacking in self-confidence  that it seems kinda pointless to direct so much hatred towards him.  Maybe pity or ambivalence should be the correct reaction but not hate.  He is sort of not worth hating.

OK, can you explain to me the hatred towards Michael C? He seems too meek and non-offensive to inspire hatred from anyone and yet soooo many people seem to dislike him intensely.  I'd appreciate an explanation!

This was a pretty mediocre episode but a mediocre episode of Southland is still far better than anything the networks can churn out.

Totally agree.  My reaction and emotions ran the gamut from embarrassment, disappointment, boredom, confusion, and finally anger for having to sit for an hour through that farce.

I had the same reaction as you.  I'm getting the sense that the designers are just going through the motions.  I wonder if, and at what point, they realized that this season was becoming a bust.  They seem to just be grinning and baring the whole thing, just waiting for their contract obligations to be fulfilled so

Anthony is so adorable I can't stand it!  Did anyone catch the scene in last week's episode where Rami was stroking Anthony head? Very cute.

Please don't bring up Terriers.  It breaks my heart when I think of what was done to that fantastic show.

And the reviewer got it right with the comparisons to The Wire and The Shield.  It is criminal how much this show is ignored.

You just said everything that I wanted to say.  I read this review and was completely confused as to the reviewer's confusion over the plot points.  I do agree that the show seems to be heading in the wrong direction but, like many others, I'm still a huge fan and I feel compelled to continue watching and defending it.

The reviewer's confusion over the Le Molecule scene is a bit weird.  Todd didn't just randomly decided to stop at Le Molecule and then suddenly remembered Alice wanted to work there.  It's the other way around.  He notices Le Molecule in the guidebook, remembers Alice wants to work there and that's the reason he wants

You should really watch the first season.  It's hilarious and I think it will be infinitely better that this one.

"Here's another baby" may have been the best line of the entire episode!

Brent's development into serious and stolid aristocrat is not funny and seriously out of left field.  Next to Todd, he was the one character I enjoyed most from the first season.  I loved the smug and knowing smirks and giggles but now that that seems to be just an act, it completely ruins what was, for me at least, a

I loved the first season from start to finish but this episode was clearly not as strong as any of last season's.  I disagree with the reviewer that expanding the story to cover the other characters is a good thing.  It's more believable that Todd alone is just a completely ridiculous person.  Once the other
