I disagree about Rick.  I think his "take no bullshit" personality is what made him so boring and such a non-entity.  He wasn't willing to do anything that he considered BS or beneath his quiet, macho, straight forward cowboy persona and that's what made him an awful person to cast on a realtiy show like this.  He

It is hard for me to fathom that people like Keith and Whitney actually exist in this world.  They have vomit inducing personalities and
faces that make you wanna punch them.

Yeah, Jim still seemed bitter about Cochran and getting voted out.  Everybody else seemed to be over it except for him.  I only watched one season of the Ponderosa videos and they can be overbearing sometimes.  I didn't watch  this season because I knew they would be brutal towards Cochran although I think they are

I've been ranting about Rick all season long.  He may just be the most miscast person in Survivor history.  He was as Judge Reinhold said a non-entity.  He wasn't a physical threat, he wasn't strategic in any way, and he had no social game.  He was just along for the ride.  And he had the audacity to be bitter about

Exactly right.  There is more than one way to play the game of Survivor and Sandra played the "anyone but me" game perfectly.  She allowed others to do the heavy lifting, so to speak, and she allowed others to be the villain.  Yes, Parvati played well strategically during Heroes vs. Villians but all that is pointless

"I refuse to accept that Sandra won that season."  And yet, despite your lack of acceptance, the wonderful Sandra Diaz-Twine did in fact win that season and stands as the only two-time winner of Survivor!

I suppose I am rooting for Sophie but it's hard because I don't really like any of them.  As for the whole manipulating religious beliefs, why does Brandon get a pass?  I think using religion to justify everything you do and thus guilt others into going along with you is just as manipulative as what Albert and Coach

This season is well past boring at this point.  I hope CBS learns it's lesson after two dreadful seasons in a row not to bring back contestants unless it's a full all-star season.  The returning player will ultimately control the game and the new players will be too starstruck, scared, or stupid to make any moves

That's exactly what I'm talking about.  Either those people were really dull and there was nothing happening on the camp that the producers felt worthy of showing or they were more interested in showing us, once again, how awkward and annoying Cochran was.  And really, a plate balancing challenge?  Did they really

I'm starting to ask myself this same question.  This season is really bad and it seems to be getting worse.

I originally graded this episode a B- but I changed it to D to reflect not how I feel about this episode but about this entire season.  This season really sucks!  Aside from there being no one I really like and have any interest in seeing win this, the whole dynamic of what made Survivor a great game and, more

Yeah this is the only reason I'm using it.  I'm in the process of uploading my entire collection right now.  It's awesome!

I absolutely loved this show in the first two seasons but lately it seems that they are preparing the motorcycle ramp and the pool of sharks.  They haven't completed the jump yet but they are certainly preparing for it.

Okay I remember Brett. yeah he was pretty invisible for a long time in that season.  How funny would it be if after not getting any screen time and not doing anything Rick turns out to be a total bad ass once it gets down to final 6.

I'm not talking about whether or not they were competitive or not.  True, Sandra never won a challenge but she was quite active and outspoken, and was featured prominently.  Rick has simply not said or done anything.  We don't know anything about him.  We never saw any conversations with him and his tribe about him

Thanks for the shout-out, Margaret!  Shannon has served her purpose on ANTM All-Stars and now she can go home to her (underwear for his eyes only) husband!

Has there ever been a player on Survivor that has made it as far in the game as Rick has while saying and doing as little as he has?  Here we are at the final 9 with the jury about to be seated and we don't know jack shit about him.  I would be surprised if he has uttered more than a total of 20 words during the

I was wondering that myself.  I suppose that they did tell them and it just didn't get too much of a dramatic reaction so CBS decided not to show it.  I am happy about that.  The less references to Russell the better.

I had no idea that the Yanni character was Adam Levine until I just read it here.  I actually was staring trying to figure out who it was and it never dawned on me that it was him.

I have a theory about why they have kept Shannon around for so long.  I think they intentionally have kept her so she would be around for the inevitable bathing suit/lingerie challenge.  Oh the drama that will ensue when she will have to defend her morals and modesty.  That's the onlyreal value she could possibly
