completely agree and have had the same experiences. although i would also argue that bpd is a problematic diagnoses in many ways and most shrinks/docs i have seen agree. but thats what we have to work with (well, i have some solid axis 1 diagnoses as well, but still!)

I have depression. I also have BPD. It is a real mental illness and it makes life really fucking difficult. But as I said…somewhere, people neglecting their children is a huge trigger for me and absolutely makes my ability to emphasize go downhill rapidly. Also, Soso seeks help. Alieda doesn't.
