I fucking hate Alieda and did not find that this episode really humanized her. Admittedly people being horrible parents is my biggest trigger so I may not be able to be objective. Wish that little girl had gone to Mama Stasch.

Jesus, those two rape scenes were hard to watch. Well done, but brutally hard to watch. And yet so typical of so many rapes. The way Manning's eyes went dead was so truthful.

eh. in so many ways, college is what you make of it, and there are great profs in every school just as there are horrible ones. it might well be that east indiana state has more profs instead of TAs and smaller classes and more access to grants or interesting programs that dedicated students can find.
