I suspect that when (or if) she ever gets out of the conservatorship situation, they’ll find that a good portion of the money will have mysteriously disappeared.

Considering she’s been under conservatorship for 12 years and has very little control over her own wealth, health, or a number of facets of her own life, her skin could well be wanting to see the system that has kept her there burn.
She’s clearly not advocating (or amplifying) anything on either of those extremes. Redistribution of wealth can happen within ‘regulated capitalism’, it is incredibly disingenuous to equate socialist economic policies with extreme authoritarian politics. There is literally no need to extrapolate that far. Grow up.
wtf I love Britney Spears now
I like Scalzi’s response
Literally the fucking people who were fearmongering over “socialist death panels” for seniors within extremely recent memory.
Love that political party that makes a huge show of being “pro life” while encouraging the undesirables to die.
My guess is, in reality, Dan Patrick would be about the last person to make the ultimate sacrifice for any reason. Rightists always talk a good game when others have to pay the price.
“I wonder if Aiden wouldn’t have been better suited to Dragula than Drag Race”
Agreed. I said this to a friend the other day, I feel like they are giving Aidan the Pearl edit. And it’s not cute.
I started this season rooting for Aiden, as a fellow GA Peach, but gurl... When you are a pin-up adjacent brunette Queen from (close to) Atlanta, you will always be compared to former winner, Violet Chachki. The difference is blinding now and I wonder if Aiden wouldn't have been better suited to Dragula than Drag Race.
Thank you to Leslie Jones and her stylists for this look because I can not stop looking at her! Wow wow wow
I liked that they sort-of commented on the fact that Stubbs was a pretty thinly drawn character in S1 and S2. He was already “character as job description” from the start, so making that literal (Ford didn’t give me a tragic backstory, just a job to do) was a nice touch.
Loved Leslie Jones as a guest judge. She was great on Untucked as well, she both gave some queens some encouragement and read some for their looks!
omg we loved Leslie Jones judging. Her excitement and energy was contagious. She looked to be having so much fun.
I’m happy to say that with the re-edits, despite Sherry Pie’s presence, I am still able to enjoy the show. Leslie should be a guest judge on every show there is on TV.
I know I’m supposed to feel sad for the characters that Jeremiah died, but Dean Cain is such a massive tool in real life that mostly I’m relieved he won’t be on the show now ever again.
they’ve done such a great job casting teen Alex+Kara that I can’t ever mind when they go back to them to cover the adult actors’ availability problems. but I never expected we’d get to see two versions of Alex interact and it was a blast.
Great episode for Alex. It’s always nice when they can give her a non-romance/non-baby storyline, and this is a rich vein. The tension caused by Kara’s presence in her family is one of the best sources of conflict between their two characters.
I loved when he was taking on the second squad with the axe and three of the guards just straight-up run away, with him yelling “Oh, come on!” after them.
