Yeah, that was my first thought, beyond the fact that she doesn't really look like the girl in the video. She looks older, and definitely older than seven. Everyone wants to be Internet-famous I guess. Strange times, man.

This is all sorts of disingenuous. Taylor Swift was one of the world's most profitable stars before the West incident.

Probably, but it's funnier to call a little, sweet girl a fraud.

I think it's probably more fair to say that Janiyah's mom is a fraud rather than her.

It's floofy. It's cute. Not my taste, but pretty.

I love it, and I love the picture. She looks great AND I'm jealous of that library set-up.

YUP. That right there is what we call an "over the top wedding dress."

Yeah, that was my first thought too. Short of a dress with fairy lights in the skirt and a battery pack to power them, you have to be kind of careful calling any sort of wedding dress "over the top." I've seen much more elaborate dresses. And not just from my Say Yes to the Dress addiction (damn you, Netflix Instant).

Also, it looks exactly like my wedding dress. Was mildly offended by over-the-top, and then saddened, wondering if tulle = over-the-top now?

Dear Miley:
Allow me to suggest a tattoo of your parents on your face. That way they'll be together always, and we'll have a constant reminder of who to blame for your incursion into our lives.

Yeah, you can't just drop the Mario Batali dog kicking bomb and just walk away. Damn croc wearer.

Eh, it wasn't a big deal, really. In the Washington Square dog run with mine and my girl's French bulldog and Batali is trying to come in the gate with his dog of indeterminate breed. All the dogs in the dog run come over to check it out, his dog gets freaked out, one of the other dogs gets aggressive. He gets freaked

My only question is that it's her engagement picture. Is wearing your wedding dress in your engagement pictures a thing now?

It's gorgeous ! Mine was a cheap version of this kind of dress with a black silk belt. And it had a train, you guys. but it was not pver the top at all, especially sans veil. I wish I could wear it every week.

I didn't think you were very mean about it, just honest. I rather feel the same about a lot of the nails I see these days. I say this as a person who for a time in the 80s would pierce my acrylics and stick a gold charm in them. But looking back, yeah it was kind of tacky. Some of the current stuff is cool but a

Nick never let any woman keep her hair even shoulder length. Mid-neck or shorter for everyone. Ted (totally blanked on his name!) is a little less draconian, but oh man, it IS totally about shock value, you are right.

How do they wipe? I imagine Hello Kitty nails could cope with practice, but that red one just screams danger. Stabby, poopish danger.

how do you type or text (or even write) with nails like that!

Those are insane.
