Subtle surgery may be detectable to a critical eye, but it's not obvious. I guarantee you you could name 5 celebrities you think haven't had any work done, and I could point out the work they did.

All your 'grievances' could have been solved by doing one simple thing:
Exactly what I took away from it. I used to work in nightclubs where my uniform involved wearing heels and my shift would end at 3 am (if I was lucky). I have a feeling that had I worked near Caitlin, she would have been judging me (and my noisy heels) for having the audacity of being a woman alone at night.
E.) All of the above.
I just ordered Thai Food and my sister is coming over to watch cornball movies! We *just* started getting along (becoming a mother has tamed her) so having her back in my life is a treat. Barf.
You should know that making catty personal jabs does nothing to add to the discussion, it just makes you look petty. I know all about body language; I, once again, didn't take away what you did. And that's okay. I'm moving on whether you choose to or not.
She looks defeated...to you. She doesn't look like she's enticing her partner.....to you. I don't see it the way you see it, and stated as such. I don't think this ad was shot particularly well nor does it make me want to be the lingerie in the ad, but this ad to me is not problematic and I don't think either one of…
No, I don't 'see' her head is down like she's ill, I think her head is down because she's looking down. And I never said nor intimated that other people are against posing sexy, as I made it quite clear that this was coming from *my* opinion ("to me") of what I took from it. Please don't argue points I never made.…
To me, it shows off her legs and butt well. She 'knows' (the way I perceive this ad) where the door is and wear her body will be posed to arouse her partner. I sometimes prop myself to show off my assets when my bf will walk into the room. It's cheese ball as Hell, but it works.
I don't agree, and I think tying other more problematic ads doesn't add to the perceived 'wrongness' of this one.
I mostly agree. Cheek implants are becoming obsolete because you can achieve the same look with filler (Sculptra, Juvederm, etc). The problem is that so many doctors and patients have a distorted sense of what looks good that it makes people think that it's a bad treatment in general. It's not. When done properly,…
I guess I'm biased because I work in the cosmetic surgery industry, but I think this is disingenuous. Eye surgeries (for example) are not designed to make you look 'hotter', they're designed to make you look less tired. Also, most men and women who undergo this procedure are 45+ years old=passed their prime in…
Funny, I think the one you marked a '10' was the least bourgeois. The one about the Bulthaup reads as the most snobby. A) Because I don't know what/who Bulthaup is, and B) it makes me chuckle how they add in the 'home' part. Of course it's a home kitchen, what/where else would a kitchen be? Do you also have a…
I think it honestly depends on the woman. On Kris, I think she looks ridiculous and desperate (there's little she can wear/do that will make me not always think that), but on some 'older' (over the age of 25) women, it can work. If you keep getting positive comments then you must be doing something right!
Don't be disingenuous. You know you don't have to go actively searching something on the internet for you to have seen something/know it exists. I don't search for these things either. These fights are *always* on the news and being reported on blogs like the one you comment on. I don't even live in the U.S. to know…
Well, for starters, it was staged, hence the 'over produced' quality of it. As for the people being in on it, there are people posting their pics, blogging, and commenting about their experience, so unless that's also planted, then this was indeed real.
I remember 'back in the day' when Parasuco was still a cool, desirable brand and they had a warehouse sale of up to 90% off. I was beyond excited. I saved up my monies thinking I was going to score a new wardrobe for nothing.
Disgusting.
This will be my last reply to you as your last one was borderline incoherent ranting with nothing substantive to add.
As per the study (and others I've read), the same people who spend this money also had student debts, but I do agree that there is a separate culture of entitlement where they are having *everything* covered for them.
