I'll join your club, friend! Our secret handshake can be a pantomime of boob juggling. "THESE are breasts."

HOW DARE YOU!

Also regarding Alexis' painting, it was really sloppy the way it tapered off unevenly along her collarbone.

I fleetingly wondered if that was it too, or if the veil was attached in such a way that taking it off would smear her makeup. But, no.

It could be unpreparedness, but as someone else up thread pointed out, it could be her newness to drag showing and she froze up.

Plus, they already used (and wasted) the return slot on Cynthia.

Alexis was spared from the bottom because Nina and Valentina clearly were headed there. I'm sure there's a target in her back now.

Yeah, I gotta wonder if this is VH1 fuckery: acquiring the show then destroying it's magic.

Mathu Anderson quitting, no more Mike Ruiz, no Lucian. Other than the last one which is obvious, what is happening to the show?

I'll cut Charlie slack for being injured. I don't cut her slack for originally giving a bullshit excuse ("I'm a singer, so I don't know how to lip sync.")

Or, if she hadn't argued with Ru. That virtually sealed her fate. The rest was sealed when it was immediately obvious why she wouldn't take the mask off.

It's like the self-taught designers on Project Runway who crumble at the first bad runway critique. Going to school, amongst other things, enables you to take those crits.

I think her fate was halfway sealed when she argued with Ru.

1. Yes, but this season will go down in lip sync history for the wrong reasons

Alexis only entertains me unintentionally, but that's still plenty entertaining.

Even when Alexis has done well, there's a patina of flop sweat and desperation that makes her performances borderline unenjoyable for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not rooting for her to go home (like, sorry, Cynthia), but her nervous energy is always right in my face. It's jarring.

I don't find Ross funny that often, but his living for it side eye was gif-worthy.

Yes! I was like bitch, Jiggly Caliente is Body Made Wrong! ( Sorry, Jiggly.)

Sasha is such the humanitarian intellectual that loving her was inevitable for me. It was thrilling to see her brains not get in the way. It was less thrilling to see everyone's blank looks at "edifying."

I'd agree with that. There are queens I certainly like (Shea, Valentina, Sasha), but all of them feel like runners up. It's a dead heat to third place.
