I really tried with this and I so wanted to like it, but all it did was remind me of my vendetta against ABC for cancelling Happy. Most of the episodes I couldn't finish, I finally just deleted it from my series manager.

Did he have the right though? They weren't broken up and he was living in her apartment. I don't think I've ever sided with Hannah and I can't believe I'm saying this, but she was a model of civility compared to how most people would have handled that.

I only have a second hand Ron Jeremy story, but I'll tell it anyway. I had an ex-boyfriend who met him once at an event and found him a total dick. I guess Ron hit on his female companion (not me obviously) like my ex wasn't even there. Not really polite hitting on either, more like "Want me to bang you out?"

I don't seem to enjoy the themed one story episodes as well as the rest, although I liked this better than the brunch special. But I'm thrilled Portlandia is back.

I agree, the writing has been lazy, and the directing too. The one ep where Rafi tackled Kevin in the bar and something about frittata guy being a chef (? honestly have already forgotten the plot) was so sloppily blocked and staged that it looked like rehearsal footage at times. It's not like I'm an industry

Yeah it's a pretty mindless, easy show to watch, but I found this last season disappointing (the Rafi/Randy episode was easily the standout.) Ruxin's absence for much of the season also didn't help.

From your description of the cast, the show's title is already a misnomer. If you were truly attempting to construct a utopia, clearly many or maybe all of these people would be left in the waiting line.

Idris Elba is in it?! THIS! Thank you!

Out of many perplexing story choices on this show, one of them is clearly why Pam and Eric continue to live in fucking Louisiana in that dump of a bar.

Mr. Gus was the only good character introduced on this show in the last three years at least. Kind of bummed he ended that way when he wasn't a bad guy in the grand scheme of things. He was planning on with-holding the permanent Hep V cure from vamps, but apparently Eric and Pam did the same thing anyways.

The show runner professed this was a fan service "return to Bon Temps" season.

it needed more Ewok sing-a-longs.

Sookie's got a fairly light ball! Remember, she's got a fairly light ball! Rutger Hauer, come back and remind us about the light ball that will make Sookie not have a magic fairy vagina. Ok, so they are leading up to some…no? And then she just marries some human guy when she was never able to date humans because mind

Actually, when they panned up to Sookie rolling around in that pile of guts, I did start laughing uncontrollably as well. And I did kind of love that his innards appeared to still be moving. I guess the finale did entertain me after all.

NOOO! Some of the eps are so event-free they are painful to sit through. Save yourself!

Isn't the whole issue that Sookie can't hook up with human dudes because mind reading, etc.? Is her husband exempt from telepathy because… he doesn't have a face? Twist!

"I'm a 1000 year old (or thereabouts, fuck it no time for exposition) vampire and I'm in love with some redneck chick in rural Louisiana that I've barely spoken to."

Ah-I will try that. I am really torn, as I love Justin Theroux.

Like that Buffy ep where vampire Willow was zapped back to her alternate reality right as she's getting staked. Right?

The commercial didn't make up for this previous 60 minute shit show, but I loved they did give snarky Eric and Pam a final moment.
