Pacific Rim 2 - "This time with a story!"
Movies as they are rated on IMDb
Just to shed some perspective to all the fanboy rage in here right now, here is how this list currently stacks up to how the movies are actually rated by thousands of IMDb users.
Must. Find. Something to pick apart in this. Groundhogs Day? Tom? Science Fiction? Auto-tuning? Need. to.. find.. some reason to hate this. Will update later with why I can't enjoy this.
This might be too hyped to even give it a shot. I'm heavily leaning towards judging this before watching it and ensuring that I don't post anything remotely close to excitement on social media. It can't work. Okay. I'm feeling cooler about myself already.
It won't be worth checking out then. You sir have found the Achilles heel to this story.
Looks too awesome for me to approve of this on a forum. Must take mind-blowing scenes and formulate way to shit out a "looks awful" comment.. /processing
So in reading all of the other responses, citing nations that this law does not work in, I am wondering why this is considered a law at all - or why people are mind-boggled by this. Just seems like a silly coincidence in some places.
I usually like my horror better left unexplained.
Hellraiser is of course the best of the movies, but Bloodline and a lot of elements of Hellraiser II are very enjoyable to me. I too liked the somewhat over-ambitious ideas they decided to tackle in Bloodline. There's a killer trailer for a new HR coming out that looks to be [finally] good again:
It was more a rhetorical statement. I agree with you.
There should be no controversy over studies that reveal how our brains operate differently.
People are insulted by this because of what again? Children that like toys or companies that want to sell them? Welcome to the reality of being a kid and the reality of capitalism. The only part science has in all this is understanding how to appeal to their minds and how to produce plastics for said toys.

The first real snuff film on iO9!
There are plenty of "nerds" that aren't outraged by JJ, sir or madam.
Cutting back and forth between the vampire prison release and the funeral got a little tedious to me.
The worldbuilding is wrong, there are no character arcs done correctly, and the allegory is handled poorly?
The issues about the worldbuilding are very opinionated (which is fine), yet somewhat overly sensitive. Especially considering the condition of the world today -and- given that we really only get to see one chunk…
I'm pretty sure the creators aren't avid readers of the series. That was my immediate thought when I heard the priest bit too. It was funny though. And illustrates the point that most movies could really be over in a few minutes if characters just do the right thing. Wouldn't make for fun films, but yeah..
SSD is faster, of course, but I agree that it isn't worth the amount of money you pay for the speed it increases load time. "Once you try it you'll never go back" doesn't ring true for me. Maybe it has something to do with not caring if I have to wait an additional 13 seconds to load a game on my system.. I don't…
You don't need to go into how distorted people's perceptions can be, but one can use an adjective to describe something with a fair amount of reason. Adjectives (or alignments) can paint a picture - most certainly. I can see no reason to describe things with scientific measurements only. Can you imagine what that…
