That research actually does exist. There was a study that showed a higher rate of PTSD in similarly aged children in Compton compared to those in Afghanistan. I have questions about controls and the mental health evaluation between the two groups. I have no citations, but the research itself does exist.

Glazer is saying it’s the players’ faults for being in the wrong area and dressing like they want to get hit.

Goatee, no, but if you’re a bald white guy a full beard (sometimes a mustache) is pretty much necessary to avoid looking like a penis or a white supremacist.

I don’t think it’s a question of intelligence; I think it’s one of caring. She will never need an abortion or social welfare benefits, so in her mind those issues are unimportant. It’s like when I hear about how tax plans affect people with a lot of investment income — that’s not me and it’s never going to be me, so

The people who have issues with this article either didn’t read it, or are incapable of critical thought beyond “That guy is bad, why are you talking about him??”

We’ve covered Mayweather’s domestic violence issues in great detail and will continue doing so. There’s absolutely no conflict between doing that and writing about him as a boxer or historical figure. (I’m guessing, by the way, that a lot of these angry commenters down here haven’t even bothered reading the article,

Impressed with their ability to enrich themselves on the backs of others and to exploit a professional hockey player relentlessly, Gary Bettman has offered the Johnsons an expansion franchise.
