Except there you are getting into the whole thing of belittling a man by suggesting that he has female traits. I’m never sure whether the idea is that women are inferior or if it’s a homophobic thing. Probably both, I suspect.

As a Brit, I have to say there’s some ugly subtext going on when it’s used here. We have plenty of words for “idiot” and “cunt” is much nastier. Or so it seems to me.

Everyone has equal rights? Transgender people don’t have equal rights. Gay people barely have equal rights, and the government is working towards taking away the rights they only just got. Women don’t have equal rights. What country do you think you are living in?
