It’s sad that yokai watch isn’t doing well while Pokemon is. You can finish everything in Pokemon Sun and Moon in and 20ish hours of gameplay... My first playthrough of yw2 had a good 140 hours of gameplay to finish everything I wanted to.

Yup, no need to have played any of the others. Keep in mind, though, it’s more of an action-platformer than a traditional RPG. It’s just got weapons/armor/abilities/other fun RPG elements.
