I like Smash ok, but I really fucking hate the fanbase. This game has literally every Smash character ever, plus a decent amount of new ones, and they’re still constantly disappointed by every single announcement.

I’m not the biggest fan of Jim Sterling’s work these days (his growing frustration with AAA publishing practices is, well, almost as exhausting as those practices themselves), but his take on RDR2's attention-to-detail and verisimilitude-at-any-cost habits are worth a look as a counterpoint.

As a guy with a beard I have to mention that facial hair is make-up for dudes and we should be more open about that. So let he willing to shave off his facial hair to reveal his actual jawline cast the first stone.
