None of this fixes the main problem: That there are micro-transactions in a full-price game in the first place. That is not acceptable, no matter how ‘skippable’ it is.

“Games haven’t increased in price.” other than slicing up games into DLC, season passes, legendary editions, etc.. In order to get all content in a game you need to often spend upwards of $100 and you then there’s still microtransactions in those same games.

As a “Betrayal” game I would assume it would still have a traitor mechanic. Having a “lawful good” character kinda defeats that purpose. I assume that is why the character sections are more on the neutral side (not to say you couldn’t have a neutral Paladin or Cleric, but story-wise it might make it difficult).
