I play video games since 1995, and I was never as hooked up to a game as I was to Fantasy Life. The only game in my life I had to set up a timer on my phone so I wouldn’t play too much on a single session.

For what it is worth my saying, the gameplay feels like SOTN or maybe a little bit like Aria. The movement and game feel is largely retained and even in the small section I played (which we should stress is a demo) had a nice mix of combat and platforming.

I guess I should have qualified that as decent 2D animation...

As someone who works in animation, I always love when people talk about how easy it is. Especially people who don’t do it.

The captions make it weird, they should all have just said “BWAAAAAAAAAH!!!!”

Could we get an edit on that headline and remove the word “captured”? She was a young girl, not an escaped convict or an animal that needed to be picked up somewhere. She was not captured. She was abducted. She was kidnapped and murdered.

There was a video game journalist on Twitter who tweeted about being asked “Do you play games?” at E3 this year, and a large amount of other journalists sounded off with sympathy over being put in similar situations...
