Doesn’t it have to be a huge hit to be a sleeper hit? I guess DQB did well enough to warrant a sequel, but I didn’t see it jump to the top of the sales charts or anything.

I like the Exodia idea.
Going handheld-only seems like a way to incentivise people into buying multiple Switches per household, like for families. If it was tv-only, you’d really only sell one per household.
So Ocarina of Time is a Metroidvania?
Aime is probably part of the reason we're not getting all 800+ in S&S. That's a lot of extra animation.
They said every Pokemon from Let’s Go will be in it so the Genwunners needn't lose any sleep.
Downloading the Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo and playing it on the 8-hr car trip I’ve got on Saturday.
Valve is clearly very bad at designing games.
Let’s Go only had Gen 1 plus the Alolan Pokemon. 160-ish models to 800+, or more than 5x as many Pokemon. Ie, 5x as long to implement as it did for the Lets Go roster.
Because if I draw Iron Man, everyone knows he belongs to Marvel. It doesn't work the other way round of people share my art without credit.
Hopefully it’ll be an expansion later. It’s a totally reasonable problem, though. It definitely reminds me of the New Frame Plus discussion about Pokemon battle animation, and the realistic expectations of how much work this really is.
No sauce at all?
I kinda’ hope it is. I didn’t -really- like the whole “Check in for a grand total of two furniture items for this whole daggone real-life day” element. And no, I refuse to time-travel.
I’d love it if the combat is turn-based like Divinity and not the combat system of Baldur’s Gate. (What would you call that? Pause-if-you-want auto fighting?)
I am SO over Gen 1 I never want another game restricted to the first 150 again.
They also showed off random battles in the previous video, so I imagine it’ll be a combination. Probably similar to the shaking-grass mechanic of previous games.
What even does that last panel mean? How is catching horses a more extreme version of burning down a whole village?
I tried playing Baldur’s Gate 2 on my tablet because I kept hearing how great it was. It definitely feels its age, though, as there’s absolutely no on-boarding and I couldn’t figure out the UI for the life of me. XD Pretty sure I’ve spent 4 game hours in that intro dungeon (and maybe 12 in-game days as I keep…
Noooooo you were doing so well for so longggg
I really like the Yokai Watch series, and this one looks like a really interesting change to the formula. But I’m wondering if I’ve gotta watch the Shadowside show (movie?) to understand why all the Yokai have weird-looking tall versions of themselves. XD
