Kinda’ early for getting pumpkins? Won’t they rot by Halloween?

No time for any legit games, but still playing moble trash Battlejack, ever since Mike Fahey wrote about it like a month ago.
That’s awesome. I’d love a non-combat mode in all of my open-world games where I could just wander around and learn stuff.
All I’m saying is, there is a lot of game dev information out there. No one cares to watch it, judging by the viewcounts on most of those videos. Don’t see how that’s going to change any toxic gamers at all, considering they don’t REALLY care about the dev process.
They upload almost every GDC panel on Youtube, if you ever actually wanted to find it.
If the toxicity stuck to insults on Twitter, it would be one thing. But don’t act like targeted attacks on game devs, including doxxing, campaigns to get devs fired from their place of employment by bombarding their employer, as well as death threats to events they’re attending, don’t happen WAY too often for any…
That isn’t true for even all games, though. Tetris doesn’t have any story, it’s just a digital toy, like a jigsaw puzzle or a chess set. So, since the point of Tetris isn’t the memory of a story, but the USE of it, in your world can we sell Tetris but not Super Mario Bros?
Yessssss. Going to get some friends together as soon as possible for this one!
Good to know!
Why distinguish between what one creator makes when it’s a game, versus what another designer makes, when it’s a tool or object? Is IKEA going to get a cut every time you want to sell your table? Or Hasbro when you want to sell the toys your baby outgrew? Or the fashion designers when you want to sell your jacket? …
I dunno. I’ve seen a lot of mixed responses about it, like plenty of people insisting it’s designed for group play. Also 20% of the game being multiplayer is still too much multiplayer. XD
I like the fluffy bat one! :D
It’s probably so the corners don’t put grooves into the wood.

I imagine it’s just going to get harder to find Switches as the holidays near, because anecdotally I know a lot of gamer friends who’re waiting for Mario Odyssey to pull the trigger, plus all the non-gamer folks only ever start looking for Christmas presents around October, November-y times. All that, plus I doubt…
Is it selfish of me to hope they have the same option to reduce random encounters to 0% like they did in Bravely Default? That would put this game way higher on my wishlist for sure.
It also wouldn’t surprise me if Japanese game developers just got paid a lot less, if the animation industry in that country is any indication.
The two from Dragon Age are female, and possibly the Oocca.
Don’t bodyshame, Jango.
If it’s a nice portfolio binder, it could be cool to get a podium or some sort of holder (like they make for cookbooks/large bibles), so the book itself becomes a display piece.
Definitely good to know! Thanks!
