So Brionne is more dainty than sassy. I like it.

Did people have this trouble with Braixen too? She’s basically the Pokemon version of an anime magical-girl, wand and skirt and all.
Aveline and Isabela come to an understanding, but Fenris and the two mages never seem to get along with one another. (In fact, Fenris just gets downright cruel with Merril after her mirror quest) Sebastian never really gets chummy with anyone ever. And people still treat Isabela fairly coolly by Act 3. And this is…
Best line in the game.
I didn’t mind the maps, because I never found the maps in Origins that compelling either. They were merely larger, with a different theming overlaid on top. Inquisition had more-interesting worlds, but I don’t really go to DA games for their maps anyway.
Yeah, it was kind of the story of that one guy/gal who makes friends easily, even though his different buddies never seem to get along with each other. The banter in 2 is the most cutthroat, sniping, terrible things said to one another. You KNOW many of these companions would be enemies if they didn’t have Hawke as a…
Ohmigosh I’m glad I’m not the only one who liked DA2 the most. I totally fell in love with my cocky, jokey, apostate Hawke and his pirate adventures that must’ve taken place after he and Isabela fled Kirkwall.
C. I have my doubts that snobby owl turns into a badass archer. Betting those “leaks” are fake.
That’s what I was thinking too.
Will you all be reviewing World of Final Fantasy? I know October turns into the month of TOO MANY GAMES, so I wasn’t sure if this one was in the plans or not.
It’s definitely not ideal that she’s decided to do that, but she can do whatever she wants with her own body. It’s better than people just contributing to the problem by making up women to be objectified.
It’s because video game women, particularly the objectified ones, tend to be written by a group of men, not by women. Real people are allowed to be stereotypes and cliches by their own free will, but it’s still harmful as a writer or creator to *write* those stereotypes into existence, particularly when that’s the…
Still don’t know the difference between real human beings with their own agency and fictional characters, do we?
Obviously this is a site for children, because they’re still clicking on articles they don’t like and then commenting about it.
Because there aren’t really that many shows that cater to the very young girl demographic? (Regardless of how well the show also does with adult males)
You must be new here.
It’s not like every monster-collecting game HAS to become a juggernaut like Pokemon. It’s its own subgenre of the RPG that’s spawned plenty of franchises: Yokai Watch, Dragon Quest Monsters, Puzzle & Dragons, Digimon, Monster Rancher, Ni no Kuni, and upcoming World of Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter Stories games.
Pokemon and Yokai Watch, yay! And possibly World of FF, if I’m not full up on the monster-befriending genre by then.
But there was very little animation in it at all, let alone Ghibli-style animation. *am disappoint*
Then if they don’t care about the topic of the article, maybe they can go read something else.
