I think it refers to how everyone working for Kotaku will be too busy with E3 news to watch movies or play MMOs.

Except if you check out the players in Inktopolis (or playing the game), you see WAY more female avatars, and lots of them with male names like “Matt,” “David,” or “Dad.” (I see a lot of “Dad” names)

Why do you assume these artists are all male?

I’m actually looking forward to the total surprises. I got super-hyped for Splatoon last year, and hopefully this year we’ll get something else super new and refreshing. Not necessarily from Nintendo either, because I’d like a reason to buy a PS4 and nothing’s sold me on it yet.

Those all sound like niche games that small groups of hardcore gamers want, ignoring the fact that Mario Sport and Mario Party games make Nintendo a ton of money with very little effort (seriously, a DnD game? How in seven hells is that a mass-market idea?).
