Probably because the industry still saves their biggest reveals for E3.

Funny, because on the Zelda article, everyone's bitching that they were just showing wandering around the world instead of a cinematic. XD
Yeah, because the two guys who announced the portable winner said that no one from Blizzard was there to accept the award, so they didn't give Keighley a chance to speak. So they had to interrupt their next segment to give him a chance. XD
The show's a bit disorganized.
Thursday, got in the Best Buy line at 3, and when it opened at 5pm I bought a bunch of 15%-off eshop cards. (Which I later learned they sold online. XD)
Then online I bought Mario Kart for $35 on Amazon, $60 Smash with $15 gift card at Target, and the Wii U for $260 on eBay.
In regards to Smash, each fig contains an AI character that you can import into the game and train up to be used in Smash battles, as an opponent or team member. It doesn't unlock characters or modes aside from that.
Some of those Amiibos can also be used on other games for other things. (Custom Mii outfits in Mario…
Well, it's a matter of price if you're trying to get 4 controllers for friends. You could spend $200 on 4 Pro Controllers or $20 and use the Gamecube controllers that a lot of Smash fans already have.
Doesn't help when Walmart doesn't have any in stock.
Not really my point, though. The OP said, "If you can't afford a new console," and last I checked, if you can't afford $330, you also can't afford $500.
Are they more affordable than the $330 Xbox One bundles that're coming on Black Friday? Because I kinda' doubt that.
So then you're saying that everyone who's bought a 3DS has bought three of them?
Also pretty sure that software sales of JRPGs are "nowhere near as high in the West as they are in Japan," is true in ANY platform.
"The buying potential of a 3DS or Vita exclusive is significantly lower than that of a PS4 game at this point."
"Sure, there are exceptions. Loads of smaller indie titles get by just fine being super happy. "
Also all of Nintendo. Sure, they don't really take up an equal-third of the market with Sony and Microsoft, but they're not indie, and their aesthetic has always been bright and cheery.
Big Hero 6 isn't Pixar, it's Disney. (Two separate animation studios, even if the former's owned by the latter)
Well, if these Blizzard employees did this in their free time, then it's cosplay that can also be used as marketing.
I mean. I feel like Blizzard was trying to make reasonable female characters, and then just got a leeeettle carried away. Like how Symmetra's cleavage isn't hanging out, but then they couldn't help themselves and gave her a dress slit up to her waist.
Definitely get the feeling though that in this world, apparently…
I don't understand what you're moaning about. If you'd watched the Direct, it was followed up IMMEDIATELY after by a closer look at Codename STEAM, an -original game- for the 3DS.
Gonna start with tailor in the hopes of awesome new clothes! *is a sucker for custom outfits*
Profit? Cosplayers don't make money. (Quite the opposite, since costumes cost a LOT to make.)
Glad they're coming to Android. I don't have an iPad to play Hearthstone, and I'd like to play these sorts of games on the go.
As a second-generation Filipino American, there's so much about this story that mirrors my own life. *_* I rarely ever read anything like that, so thank you so much for this article.
