This!! Same experience for me. And I always forget to open the cap until after I try to compress the first caliper! :P

Thank you for this! One thing I’d like to add that I noticed on most of the break changes I’ve done is... It’s easier to compress the break caliper if the lid to the brake fluid is open in the engine compartment. This allows the excess air in the brake fluid ‘tank’ to escape, preventing pressure buildup... Just my…
