Software Engineer here, crunches are a way of life leading up to deadlines. It’s the same for every developer in any sector, healthcare, financial, games, etc. Doesn’t matter. None of this surprises me, and whatever they are saying, I can assure you, it’s much worse.

Yep, well said.

Anecdotally.

People undergoing proper pain management treatment almost *never* overdose or even become addicted (in the sense of using more medication than needed, as many chronic pain patients are dependent on the pain relief to function because, well, their chronic pain renders them nonfunctional otherwise).”

Jaylen Brown is an extremely underrated athlete. Dude is strong as hell, moves laterally very well, and he’s got some ups. It’s takes some serious strength to push through Embiid like that.

This is spot on. I can’t read about football anymore, it’s a either a general take on why team ‘x’ is bad. Or it’s a take on why a penalty didn’t get called. Also, articles on crazy antics of football players are boring.

That does not surprise me.

It’s glorious!

That honestly seems low.

Jesus christ grandpa you can’t say things like that anymore...

With this giant scandal hanging over the program, I think they need to do something radical like have the actual gymnasts participate in a vote to elect the new CEO.

Ggrantland was a prestige site. The Ringer is basically Buzzfeed. The fact that The Ringer is successful while Grantland wasn't, says alot about the average sports viewer. And shame on us.

This is a quality comment.

KAT is a quality NBA big man, Wiggins is overrated and should never have been given a max deal especially early, and without a corresponding offer from another team.

You have no idea how involved and complex standards and audits are in the Healthcare and Financial space. HIPAA, CARF, PCI, etc.

What this guy said. Also, everyone read your medical consent, disclosure, privacy statements very carefully.

I think the concerns are prioritized incorrectly. Whether or not they suspect a youtuber sincerely cares about their susbscribers’ mental health is nowhere near as important as the very real potential for HIPAA violations. That shit is scary, and everyone should care about this and it should be at the top of the list.

Eexcellent work sir.

The musician banners bug the shit out of me. Who are they competing against and why do we care? Records are a thing in sports, they are not in music, which is essentially an exhibition performance.
